…girl so then, not only did Rihanna drop what will only be the hottest club-banger of the summer and beyond earlier this week, but the Trap Goddess debuted a live performance of the song within days of its release. Shot-caller, indeed.
Owning the iHeartRadio stage in Versace green fur, matching specs, and the sauciest thigh high-glass heeled boots known to man, RiRi oozed early 90’s sexy fun—a look that only one other bad girl could pull off so effortlessly: the original Queen Bee, Lil’ Kim. And we weren’t the only ones who made the connection:

Was this what RiRi was clueing us in on when she posted a seemingly random photo of Lil’ Kim on her Instagram earlier this week?
Either way, we respect and love the homage shown to the OG Queen, which was only a sliver of the Bajan songstress’ eye-popping performance; entering the scene from a helicopter and only occasionally straying from the laid-back dance moves of her trench coat clad dancer posse, Rihanna rocked the stage. But, we’ve said enough: see what was easily the most turnt performance of the evening for yourselves, like brap, brap, brap.
